Tolix Style Steel Chairs: Colours, Durability, and Where They Work
2026-11-08
Tolix-style chairs are pressed steel rather than moulded plastic or wood, that single material choice is what gives them their industrial look and their durability outdoors.
Why steel changes the chair
A pressed steel seat and back handle outdoor conditions, damp marquees, and repeated loading between events better than most upholstered or wooden alternatives. There is no fabric to stain and no joinery to work loose, the whole chair is one welded shape.
Colour range
The EventPro® range comes in black, white, red, blue, and yellow. Black and white work as neutral seating for most events, red and yellow suit pop-up bars, street food events, and branded exhibition stands where the chair itself is part of the colour scheme.
Where they suit an event
Café-style seating for exhibition stands, outdoor dining areas, pop-up bars, and casual event seating are the typical fit. They pair well with our Full Steel Table for a matched industrial look, or against a plain banqueting table where the chair becomes the main visual feature.
Weight and handling
Steel construction means a Tolix-style chair is heavier than a stacking plastic chair, worth accounting for when planning van space or if a single crew member is loading large quantities. A chair trolley speeds this up considerably for bulk orders.
