Where it started

Expo Hire began in 2014 as a single website operating from a small warehouse. Over the following years it grew into a wider operation with a national reach, built around a straightforward approach: supply the right products, at realistic prices, with service that understands the demands of commercial use.

That growth was driven by the events and hire sector — an industry where products are handled constantly, margins are tight and reliability is non-negotiable. The stock mix, the pricing and the product selection have all been shaped by those real-world conditions.

What Expo Direct does

Expo Direct exists to take that experience and apply it to outright purchase. Customers who want to buy rather than hire can access a range shaped by practical usage, repeat handling and trade expectations — the same criteria the Expo Hire operation has always applied to its own stock.

That means the products have been tested in the field, not just chosen from a supplier catalogue. EventPro™, our core commercial range, reflects that: chairs, tables and accessories built for repeated use in venues, events and hire environments.

Our warehouse is in Birmingham, and we supply trade buyers, venues, schools, hospitality businesses and event operators across the UK.

The people behind it

Expo Direct and Expo Hire are owned and operated by the same team, working from the same premises. There is no separate head office or corporate structure. When you contact us, you reach the people who manage the stock, handle the orders and know the products directly.
