Description
EventPro® 2m Beer Bench & Table Set – Extra Wide, Extra Strong (Seats 6–8)
A 200cm table with two matching 200cm benches, all on powder-coated steel frames that fold flat for storage and transport. The set seats 6–8 people on the two benches with the table between them. Each bench has an additional centre leg that eliminates the flex and wobble common in cheaper two-leg designs.
The table measures 200cm long by 60cm wide. The benches measure 200cm long by 30cm wide. All three pieces fold flat on their own and stack together for compact storage. The entire set fits in a standard estate car or van without disassembly.
The Extra Centre Leg
Standard beer benches use two legs at each end, creating a span of close to 2 metres with no central support. Under load (three or four adults sitting in the middle), the bench flexes and bounces. The EventPro® design adds a third leg at the centre of each bench, cutting the unsupported span in half. The result: no bounce, no flex, no creaking under shifting weight.
This matters at festivals and outdoor events where guests move, lean, and shift position through the event. It also matters for commercial liability: a bench that flexes under load is a bench that will fail in time under load.
Construction
The powder-coated steel frame resists rust and scratches. The tabletop and bench seats are wood or HDPE (high-density polyethylene), both of which handle outdoor conditions, spilled drinks, and heavy cleaning between events. The folding hinges use reinforced pins that hold alignment over thousands of fold/unfold cycles.
Typical Uses
Beer festivals, Oktoberfest events, outdoor food markets, pub gardens, school fetes, sports club functions, and casual corporate team-building days. The bench-and-table format encourages communal seating: strangers sit side by side and share the experience. Caterers use the table surface as a serving station or prep bench.
For permanent installation in beer gardens or canteen spaces, the folding capability means you can clear the area for cleaning or alternative use without dedicated storage furniture.
Buying in Bulk and Space Planning
Beer bench sets often move in large quantities because buyers want one stock line that can seat a crowd at pace. Event teams may order 20, 40, or 80 sets for food festivals, school fairs, club grounds, and large staff events. Bulk buyers should map van capacity, pallet space, and unloading routes before they commit. Each set folds flat, yet the full package still carries length and weight that crews need to handle with a plan. Many operators load benches and tables in matched bundles so staff can unload one set at a time and build straight rows without hunting for parts.
Layout matters once guest numbers rise. In a 100 person area, twelve to fourteen sets can seat most guests with some spare room, but planners still need gangways for food queues, bar runs, and fire exits. If guests carry trays or pints through the rows, keep wider aisles than you would for formal dining. Sports clubs and councils often place these sets in long banks with a clear perimeter route for wheelie bins, cleaning teams, and first aid access. Schools and universities also use them in canteens or outdoor social zones where a fast reset matters more than formal spacing.
Pairing Suggestions and Event Types
The EventPro® beer bench set pairs well with gazebos for weather cover, with patio heaters for shoulder season use, and with serving counters or bar units for food and drink sales. Festival organisers place bench banks beside trader lines so guests can sit near the point of sale. Wedding venues with a relaxed brief use them for evening food zones, garden receptions, or crew catering behind the main marquee. Corporate teams use them on staff social days, sports events, and summer functions where guests eat in waves rather than at set table times.
Because the benches fold apart from the table, planners can also use the pieces on their own. Two benches can line a wall for audience seating. One table can sit behind a bar or merchandise point. Buyers who hold EventPro® gazebos often build a full outdoor package from the same range, which keeps transport and setup routines simple for crews.
Maintenance, Structural Notes, and Lifespan
The extra centre leg matters when adults sit in the middle of the bench or when guests shift weight as they stand up. That support reduces bounce and cuts the strain that long spans place on the seat and frame. Staff should still place the set on level ground and check that each leg locks open before guests sit down. On soft lawns, crews may need spreader pads under the feet if the ground sinks after rain.
Cleaning depends on the top material, but most teams wipe spills after each use, dry the set before folding, and keep the frames away from standing water in storage. Dragging folded sets across concrete causes more wear than normal guest use, so crews should carry or trolley them where possible. Buyers who inspect hinges, tighten fixings, and rotate stock can keep a commercial beer bench fleet working through many outdoor seasons.
