Pricing

All prices on the site are shown ex-VAT. VAT at the current rate (20%) is added at checkout. Expo Direct sells exclusively to trade, businesses and organisations.

Yes. Volume price breaks are built into many product listings — the per-unit price drops automatically as you increase quantity. For large orders (typically 50+ units of a single line), email sales@expodirect.co.uk for a tailored quote.

Expo Direct is a trade supplier. Orders are open to any business, venue, school, charity, government body or sole trader. We do not sell to private individuals at their home address.

Delivery & Collection

Standard orders ship via FedEx or similar carrier. Delivery is kerbside — the driver will bring goods to the nearest accessible point outside your premises. You are responsible for moving stock inside.

For bulky or pallet orders, a tail-lift lorry is used. Access requirements (height restrictions, narrow roads) should be noted at checkout.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions and delivery postcode. Warehouse collection is free of charge. See our Delivery page for full details.

Yes. Warehouse collection is available at no extra charge. Our warehouse is in Birmingham. Place your order online and select collection at checkout, then wait for a confirmation email before travelling — orders typically need 2–3 working days to be picked and ready.

The warehouse is in Birmingham. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. We are closed at weekends and on bank holidays. Contact us for the full address before visiting.

Products & Stock

We stock event furniture and catering equipment for commercial use: banqueting chairs (Chiavari, folding, conference, Eames-style, Tolix-style), banqueting tables (rectangular, round, oval, poseur), outdoor equipment (commercial gazebos, patio heaters, beer bench sets), and accessories such as chair seat pads.

Most products have no minimum order. Some lines (such as folding chairs) are sold in packs of 10 as listed. Check individual product pages for pack sizes.

Stock availability is shown on each product page. If an item shows as out of stock or you need a larger quantity than is listed, email sales@expodirect.co.uk and we will advise on lead times.

Venue Capacity

A 5ft round table (152cm) seats 8–10 comfortably. A 6ft round table (183cm) seats 10–12. A 6ft rectangular trestle table seats 6–8 depending on whether you seat the ends. See the Venue Capacity Guide for full room layout figures.

A general rule for seated dinner is 1.2–1.5 m² per person, which accounts for chairs, aisle space and service routes. A 100 m² room holds approximately 65–80 people for a formal seated dinner. Accounts & Ordering

Apply via the Trade Accounts page. Trade accounts give access to credit terms, account pricing and a dedicated account manager. Applications are reviewed within 2 working days.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. Trade account holders can pay on invoice within agreed credit terms. BACS transfer is available on request for large orders.

Returns, Warranty & EventPro®

You have 30 days from delivery to return unused goods in their original packaging. Return carriage costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or was sent in error. See the Returns page for the full procedure.

EventPro® products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal commercial use. Wear and tear, misuse and environmental damage are excluded. Full terms are on the Warranty page.

EventPro® is Expo Direct’s own-brand range of event furniture. Products in the range are specified for commercial use: higher weight ratings, commercial-grade steel and tested for repeated stack and fold cycles. See the About EventPro® page for the full specification background.
