Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales
Expo Direct (part of Expo Hire UK Limited) is a business-to-business supplier. All sales are made to trade customers in the course of their business and are not subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are purchasing for business purposes only.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or place orders.

Orders and Pricing

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
VAT at the prevailing rate will be added to all orders at checkout
Prices are subject to change without notice, but orders already placed will honour the price at time of order
We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion
Once payment is confirmed, we will confirm your order by email
Volume discounts are automatically applied based on quantities ordered

Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering via Stripe payment gateway
We accept major credit and debit cards
Payment must be received before goods are released for collection or delivery
All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe

Collection & Delivery

Standard option is collection from our Birmingham warehouse (30 Chester Street, Aston, Birmingham, B6 4BE)
Collection hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (by appointment)
Orders are typically ready for collection within 2-3 working days of payment confirmation
Delivery can be arranged at additional cost - contact us after placing your order for a quote
Delivery charges are based on distance, item size, access requirements, and timing
Risk passes to the buyer upon collection or delivery

Cancellations & Returns

Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you notify us:

More than 28 days before collection date: 75% refund
14-28 days before collection date: 50% refund
Less than 14 days before collection date: No refund
Once collected or delivered: No cancellations or refunds

New items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original packaging, subject to 30% restocking fee. See our Returns Policy for full details.

Product Condition & Warranty

Items sold as "New" are warranted against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery
Items sold as "Used" or "Refurbished" are sold as-is and as-seen
Faulty or damaged items must be reported within 2 working days of collection/delivery
We will replace faulty items (subject to availability) or provide a full refund
No liability for defects arising from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods in question
We accept no liability for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit or business interruption
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 where applicable

Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to us processing your information for order fulfilment purposes.

You must not misuse this website including introducing viruses or malicious code

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
