Colour Selection Guide
Choosing between colours across the chair range. Eames style, Eiffel armchair, Tolix steel and Chiavari, with advice on mixing, brand matching and ordering samples before you commit.
Colour affects how a room photographs, how a venue feels at capacity and whether the furniture blends into the setting or becomes a visual feature of it. This guide covers the available colours across each chair family, which environments they suit, and how to make a decision before ordering at volume.
EventPro® Eames Style Chair (7 colours)
Available in black, blue, green, grey, orange, red and white. Moulded polypropylene shell on a chrome steel base. The seven-colour range makes this the most versatile chair for colour-specific briefs.
| Colour | Best suited to | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Black | Corporate, hospitality, contemporary venues | Works indoors and outdoors; the safest choice when the brief is neutral |
| Grey | Corporate, training, mixed-use events | The most versatile colour in the range alongside white; reads neutral in most room aesthetics |
| White | Weddings, product launches, contemporary venues | The most requested single colour; pairs well with both formal and contemporary setups |
| Blue | Sports events, corporate brand-match | Works well for clubs and organisations with blue in their brand identity |
| Red | Brand-led events, vibrant hospitality | High-impact colour; strong photographic presence in a white or neutral room |
| Orange | Festivals, casual hospitality, branded events | Works well at outdoor festivals and for operators with orange brand colours |
| Green | Outdoor events, environmental brands | Reads naturally outdoors; popular for garden events and eco-themed functions |
Mixing colours: Using one colour per table (e.g. all red on one table, all blue on another) creates a deliberate festival look and works well at casual outdoor events. Randomly mixing colours across a single table usually looks unplanned. In a formal setting, use one colour throughout.

EventPro® Eames Eiffel Style Armchair (5 colours)
Available in black, blue, grey, red and white. The same polypropylene shell family as the Eames chair but with integrated arms. The arms add a slightly more formal feel and suit longer seated events, hospitality settings and venue installs where guests sit for extended periods.
Colour guidance mirrors the Eames chair: black and grey for corporate and neutral contexts; white for contemporary or wedding settings; red and blue for brand-matched events. Orange and green are not available in the Eiffel range, so if those specific colours matter, use the standard Eames chair instead.

EventPro® Tolix Style Steel Chair (5 colours)
Available in black, blue, red, white and yellow. Powder-coated pressed steel with a more industrial, matte finish than the polypropylene Eames range. The material and finish change how the colours read: Tolix blue is a deeper, more industrial tone than Eames blue; Tolix white has a slight eggshell quality rather than the gloss of moulded plastic.
| Colour | Best suited to |
|---|---|
| Black | Universal; works indoors and outdoors, industrial and contemporary settings alike |
| White | Cafe and bistro settings; contemporary outdoor dining; clean venues |
| Yellow | Outdoor and festival environments where high visibility is a feature rather than a problem |
| Red | Sports clubs, brand-matched events, bar and casual dining settings |
| Blue | Sports clubs and organisations with blue corporate colours |

Chiavari Chairs (2 finishes)
Chiavari chairs come in two finishes rather than colours. Both use the same resin frame construction with the distinctive spindle-back profile.
White Chiavari
The standard choice for formal events in the UK: marquee weddings, hotel ballrooms, award dinners and gala events. Bright white that reads clearly against most tablecloth colours. Linen covers in ivory, white or blush all work against a white frame.

Limewash Chiavari
A softer, ivory-toned antique effect. Suits rustic barn venues, boho weddings and events with a natural or muted palette. The limewash finish photographs warmly and pairs well with hessian, kraft paper and wooden table decor.

Seat pads
Seat pads add comfort for multi-hour seated events and change the finish detail of the chair. Black pads suit darker or contemporary room aesthetics; ivory pads suit traditional and formal settings. Both attach by tie strings to the seat frame.

Tables: Black vs White
The EventPro® Full Steel Table comes in black and white. The colour choice affects how the table reads in different settings.
Black steel table
Contemporary, industrial and outdoor settings. Hides surface marks and dirt better than white in outdoor or working environments. Pairs naturally with black Tolix or black Eames chairs.

White steel table
Banqueting, formal events and clean indoor environments. The light surface reads well in photography. Pair with white Chiavari, white Eames or white Tolix for a consistent all-white setup.

Practical Tips Before You Order
- Order a sample first. Colours appear differently under event lighting than they do in product photography or daylight. A single chair costs the same per unit as a bulk order. Contact us to arrange a sample before committing to 50 or more.
- Test under your venue lighting. Warm tungsten light shifts white chairs towards yellow and orange. Cool LED or daylight brings out the true colour. What looks neutral in a warehouse showroom may read differently under a chandeliered ballroom.
- Mixing chair families rarely works. Mixing colours within one family (e.g. three Eames colours at the same festival) usually does. Mixing a Chiavari with an Eames at the same table almost never looks intentional.
- Photography brief drives colour choice. For events where the room will be photographed professionally, consult the event photographer about how specific colours read under their lighting setup before committing.
