Birmingham 2022 required seating at scale across multiple venues throughout the Games. Expo Direct supplied over 12,000 EventPro® folding chairs, working directly with the organising committee to meet their exacting operational standards — from delivery logistics through to setup and post-event collection.

Outdoor hospitality at a Grand Prix puts equipment under serious pressure — long days, high footfall and no tolerance for failure. Expo Direct supplied Pyramid Patio Heaters built to a higher specification than the standard market version: an extra-thick neck for durability under repeated movement and handling, and electric ignition replacing the conventional manual system.

Both changes came directly from hire experience — the neck is the first point of failure on standard heaters, and electric ignition removes the unreliability of spark lighters in outdoor conditions. This bespoke upgrade ensured consistent warmth and performance in demanding outdoor conditions.

Expo Direct served as official supplier to the Ball of Champions Gala Dinner at Wimbledon, providing ropes, posts and picket fencing for the event. Presentation standards at a formal gala require consistent, well-finished equipment — and the setup needs to work first time with no visible improvisation on the day, ensuring a seamless aesthetic.
