Commercial Gazebo Buying Guide
3x3m vs 3x6m commercial aluminium gazebos — frame options, canopy sets, weight ballast and what separates commercial spec from domestic.
Buying options
Frame only
For buyers who already have a canopy or want a custom cover. Available in 3x3m from £329.95 and 3x6m from £499.95. Frames use 50mm hexagonal aluminium legs and heavy cast metal connectors.
Canopy & Wall Set
Replacement or additional canopy with walls. The 3x3m set includes 3 walls (£199.95); the 3x6m set includes 4 walls (£299.95). White 600D PVC-coated polyester. Frame not included.
Full Package
Frame, canopy and leg weight bases in one order. The 3x3m package includes 4 leg weights (£579.95); the 3x6m includes 6 (£849.95). The practical starting point for most buyers.
Leg Weight Bases
15kg steel weight bases sold separately at £29.95 each. Add extra weights when deploying on hard surfaces without anchoring. The 3x3m frame uses 4 weights (60kg total); the 3x6m uses 6 (90kg total).
Which size?
3x3m — 9sqm footprint
Standard market size. Fits a standard parking space. Typical uses: single food or bar unit, small outdoor seating area, brand activation pod. Frame weighs approximately 30kg and lifts comfortably with two people.
3x6m — 18sqm footprint
Two linked bays or one large covered area. Typical uses: outdoor bars, large seating zones, reception canopies. Frame weighs 135kg — transport requires a vehicle and assembly needs three people.
What to compare before buying
Leg profile
EventPro® frames use 50mm hexagonal aluminium legs. Domestic alternatives typically use 30–40mm square or round section. The hex cross-section concentrates rigidity at the corner connectors where bending stress is highest.
Weighting
Four leg weights (60kg total) for a 3x3m; six weights (90kg total) for a 3x6m. Fit weights before raising the frame. Weighted frames handle typical UK outdoor conditions; not rated for severe weather.
3x3m vs 3x6m
Two 3x3m units cost more than one 3x6m, create a gap at the ridge join and need separate weighting. If you need more than 9sqm of cover, the 3x6m frame is the more practical and economical choice.
Frame only vs package
The complete package costs less than buying frame and canopy separately and includes leg weights. The frame-only option suits buyers replacing or supplementing an existing canopy.
Canopy fabric
White 600D polyester with PVC coating. Water-resistant, UV-stabilised, wipe-clean. Handles light to moderate rain well. Sustained heavy rain can penetrate without sealed seams. Store dry after use.
Assembly
Both sizes assemble without tools. The 3x3m frame lifts comfortably with two people; the 3x6m needs three due to its weight. Raise the frame before fitting leg weights.

Common questions
What is the difference between a commercial and domestic gazebo?
EventPro® frames use 50mm hex aluminium legs vs 30–40mm square or round section on domestic units. Connectors are heavy cast metal rather than lightweight plastic. The 3x3m commercial frame weighs around 30kg vs 8–12kg for a domestic equivalent. The canopy fabric is 600D PVC-coated polyester, not lightweight nylon.
How many leg weights do I need?
Four 15kg weights (60kg total) for a 3x3m; six (90kg total) for a 3x6m. The full packages include these quantities. Extra weights are available individually at £29.95 each if you need additional ballast.
Can I link two 3x3m gazebos together?
Yes, two 3x3m units position side by side without issue. However, linked frames share no structural connection, so a small gap remains at the ridge join. For a continuous 18sqm canopy without a join, the 3x6m frame is the right choice.
Are these gazebos waterproof?
The 600D PVC-coated canopy handles light to moderate rain well. Sustained heavy rain can force water through unsealed seams. For prolonged wet weather events, treat seams with seam sealant or plan for supplementary cover at the join lines.
