Description
Pyramid Patio Heater (13kW)
A 13kW LPG propane gas patio heater with a visible real flame inside a central glass tube. Stainless steel construction. Height: 227cm. Width: 52cm. Depth: 52cm. The pyramid shape tapers from a broad weighted base to a narrow top, housing the glass flame tube in the centre of the column. The flame is both the heat source and a visual feature that draws guests toward the heater.
Outdoor use only. The heater runs on standard propane gas bottles enclosed in the base. Integrated wheels allow repositioning. Part of the EventPro® range.
The Visible Flame
Unlike mushroom heaters where the flame is hidden inside the reflector housing, the pyramid design places the flame inside a protective glass tube at the centre of the unit. The flame is visible from all angles, creating a campfire-like focal point that attracts guests. This makes the pyramid heater a decorative piece as well as a functional heat source.
The flame dances and responds to air movement, creating organic visual interest that static electric heaters cannot replicate. At evening events, the warm glow adds ambiance to outdoor spaces without additional lighting.
Heat Output and Coverage
13kW of radiant heat warms guests within a 3–4 metre radius. The heat radiates from the full height of the flame tube, warming at multiple levels rather than projecting from a single point at the top. Guests feel warmth whether standing or seated.
Position pyramid heaters as centrepieces in outdoor lounge areas, along terrace edges, or flanking entrance points. Their visual appeal means guests gravitate toward them, so place them where you want people to gather.
Construction
The frame is stainless steel with a silver finish. Stainless steel resists corrosion from rain exposure and maintains its appearance across seasons without repainting or re-coating. The glass tube is tempered for heat resistance and impact protection. The enclosed base compartment houses the gas bottle (not included) and contains the gas regulation system.
Typical Uses
Evening wedding receptions on terraces and lawns. Winter outdoor dining at restaurants and hotels. Corporate hospitality drinks receptions. Rooftop bars. Boutique hotel courtyards. Any outdoor event where atmosphere matters as much as warmth.
Buying in Bulk
If you are buying two, four, or ten heaters, start with the guest journey as well as the heat map. Pyramid heaters pull the eye, so guests gather around them in a way they do not around plain utility heaters. A 150 guest drinks reception may need six or eight units spread between arrival, bar, and seating zones. Buyers for wedding venues, universities, hospitality suites, and council sites often keep one spare unit and spare gas stock so the flame feature stays live through a busy week.
You can pair pyramid heaters with gazebos, rope barriers, lounge sets, poseur tables, and outdoor dining tables from the EventPro® range. Use the visible flame to mark social points such as terrace corners, entrance paths, or bar edges. Staff should keep clear routes to exits, service doors, and gas change points.
Layout Planning
You should place pyramid heaters where guests can enjoy both the heat and the view of the flame. In a 100 person terrace plan, teams often set units around the perimeter and keep the centre free for movement. Leave at least 1.2 metres for main circulation and more space near bars, steps, and fire exits. If you are using sofas or lounge chairs, place the heaters so guests feel the heat across the shoulder and upper body without crowding the base.
The 13kW output matters because guests feel radiant heat from the tall flame column across standing and seated height. The broad base and tapered frame help keep the unit planted when crews move through the terrace or when guests gather around it. Stainless steel matters in long term ownership because staff do not need to chase flaking paint after one wet season.
Care and Service Life
Staff should clean the glass tube, wipe the frame, inspect the hose and regulator, and check the wheel fixings before each event run. After rain, dry the heater before long term storage so water marks do not bake on during the next use. If a venue runs the heaters through autumn and winter, stock teams should check ignition, flame pattern, and guard fit during routine counts. Buyers who keep the heaters under cover between events and train staff on gas bottle changes get longer life and a stronger visual finish across the season.
